“The Pitcher Assumed I’d Be an Easy Out (I Usually Was). But the Look on His Face Was Priceless When I Clocked the Ball Out of the Park!”

My own team was amazed, too. They thought it was a fluke…until I did it again and again.

You see, they all knew I was a baseball fanatic. I was a decent pitcher, but just couldn’t hit for beans. That is, until that memorable day.

“I got myself a hitting coach,” I told them before they could ask.

“I can see that,” said my good friend Jerry. “Any chance you’d tell us who he is? Have we heard of him?”

I smiled, the kind of smile where you have a secret you just know will make you the talk of the town, upon revealing it.

I paused dramatically before replying, “Yes, I believe you know him.”

“He’s telling stories,” said Roger, another teammate.

“Well, something made his hitting go through the roof in the last week,” said Jerry.

I decided they had “suffered” enough.

“Okay,” I replied. “My coach is none other than the Sultan of Swat himself, Babe Ruth.”

Some of them laughed. A few eyed me suspiciously. They thought I was having fun at their expense.

Then I told them.

Their silence at first was understandable. Then they all began to talk at once.

“Do you realize what this means?”

“That’s a goldmine!”

“How did you ever figure that out?”

You see, my coach really was the Babe.

Through the depths of time, I reached back and tapped his amazing hitting techniques. It was hidden in plain sight all along!

It is pretty incredible when I think about it. What’s more, I’m going to show you right here what I did and how I did it.

Let me explain.

During the dot-com boom of the late ‘90’s, business was great! I became involved with an Internet start-up and made quite a bit of money. So much, in fact, that I was able to indulge in a rather expensive hobby of mine: the collection of rare baseball memorabilia.

In March of 1999, I purchased an original out of print edition of Babe Ruth’s memoirs, written by the Babe himself, for $174.960.00. At the time, pocket change for me.

I know, it seems excessive to me now, but back then I could easily afford it. It was to be the cornerstone of my collection.

In any case, you know what happened next: yep, the dot-com bust!

I was jobless and watched as all my stock options became worthless. I had to sell my beautiful home in Santa Monica, along with most of my assets, just to survive.

But as penniless as I was starting to become, I could not bear to part with the Babe Ruth memoirs.

It was just too valuable to me, even more than I had paid for it.

Then one day I came up with an absolute diamond-mine idea for a new Internet company. It was so good, I thought no venture capitalist in their right mind would turn down funding it.

I was wrong.

Funding was out there, but not for tech companies, and certainly not for another dot-com startup. Not like before.

So I was faced with a huge dilemma.

I could keep trying to raise capitol (I tried anyway, but it sure wasn’t paying off), or I could sell my prized Sultan of Swat memoirs.

I didn’t want to do it, but I had to be practical if I wanted to get out of my crappy apartment and get on with my life.

So I decided to do something I had never done before: Sit down and read the memoirs before I sold them.

Yep, I had never even read it! It was just too valuable to read.

I took the book gingerly out of its protective case in my safe, sat down at my kitchen table, and began to read (I actually wore new gloves to keep fingerprints and oils from marring the manuscript!).

I read the whole book in one sitting and sat back amazed.

I gained a new appreciation of the Babe, for sure, but something was nagging at my mind. I couldn’t quite place it, but something in the book was staring out at me, just out of reach.

So I went back to the beginning and started over again.

About a third of the way through the book, I discovered that some of the narrative tangents Ruth would occasionally branch off into didn’t really fit with the story he was telling.

It wasn’t until I began to notice this pattern that I became more aware of it when he did branch off.

It was like a story within a story.

But not just any story. This story hinted at some of the secrets Ruth possessed in his hitting strategies.

And when I began to string these various tangents and side notes together, they began to reveal…something else.

“My God.” I think I said it aloud.

Lo and behold, the Sultan of Swat was revealing to me the secrets of his homerun successes.

Turns out the Babe didn’t play baseball like other players of his era (or any era, for that matter). He didn’t hit like anyone else.

He had a very simple foundation--a strategy—that he used almost to the exclusion of all others:

With him, it was all or nothing.

That is, Ruth never tried to hit a screaming line drive, or a sacrifice, or a bunt, or a fly ball inside the outfield.

It was out of the park or bust.

And while he didn’t always succeed, he found his sweet spot that greatly increased his chances against any pitcher.

In short order, he honed this skill to a fine degree, so he could almost set his watch to it.

In 1927 alone, the Mighty Bambino belted out 60 homeruns with the New York Yankees!

And here he was revealing that very secret to anyone who cared to read his memoirs.

In plain sight…almost.

Needless to say, I was stunned.

There was no way I was going to part with this manuscript now. I would just have to find another way.

I had to study this book further, try out the techniques and see if they worked for me.

But the book was still a rare relic. I couldn’t keep flipping through the pages, wearing the book out in the process.  I’d have to make a copy somehow.

So I scraped up enough dough to have the manuscript carefully scanned into a computer. Then I could print it out and study it all I wanted, with the original back in my safe.

Was it worth the effort?

Let me just tell you that it wasn’t nearly as difficult to hit like the Babe as I imagined it would be. Sure, I didn’t have his natural talent, and I certainly wasn’t going to join the Major Leagues any time soon.

I did, however, go from squat to swat in no time flat.

Remember, Babe was the only player EVER to master both hitting and pitching. So he was uniquely qualified to see the big picture from both the mound and the plate.

In fact, Babe reveals his pitching strategies as well, including the ones that beat the best of hitters.

But his hitting strategies were what initially caught my eye. And I especially couldn’t wait to try Babe’s time-tested method for hitting any ball without worrying what the pitch was going to be.

I actually spent more time studying the book than hitting at first, but when it was time to go for the batting cage, I made a few adjustments in my stance and swing (and my attitude…very important!). And…all I can say is WOW! After a few drives over the fences, everyone was gathered around me, watching in disbelief.

But there still was the problem with raising money for my new business venture. Selling the book was out of the question.

Then one night it hit me…

I actually woke up from a sound sleep, sweating (even though my tiny AC had my bedroom chilled nicely).

I immediately knew that I could sell the digital copy of the Babe’s memoirs for a very small fee to help cover the expenses of transferring the book to digital format. Plus a few extra dollars to go towards my new business start-up.

I could explain how this book turned me from zero to hero, enabling our team to win our local championship game last year (we’re in the running this year, too!). After all, if it turned me into a star hitter, it can do the same for anyone.

Except--although it’s worth over $150,000.00 to me, I couldn’t expect anyone to pay anything close to that. Besides, it’s a digital copy of the memoirs, not the original manuscript.

Ok, the information it contains is worth several hundred dollars, minimum.

That may be so, but after studying the Babe’s memoirs for countless hours, I have a pretty good idea that Babe would have wanted all his fans to have a copy.

So…$27.

It just jumped out at me, and it seems right. Not too low, not too high.

I’ll be able to cover my costs and put a few dollars aside from every sale to help me back on my feet again.

And you’ll get a treasure chest of incredibly useful techniques directly from the Babe himself. You’ll have the same solution to hum drum hitting that turned me from an easy out to a grand slam guru. Not to mention the baseball story of two centuries!

Nobody Will Want to Bat After You!

  • Just imagine the look on your friends’ faces when you start cranking out the grand slams, regardless of the pitch thrown (by the way, the secret to power shots isn’t in your swing). You’ll have the iron-clad confidence to “call your shots,” just like the Bambino did. Hell, if I can do it, anyone can.

  • Even your son or daughter, niece or nephew will be able to put the Babe’s secrets into their game. They’re never too young to start whacking the ball over the fence!

  • Show Babe’s secrets to your teammates and see your team climb to first place practically overnight. Start your own trophy room and watch it fill up fast!

  • Have a “one-on-one chat” with the Babe and learn the amazing story that lead to his enormous hitting streak.

On the left is a picture of Babe at bat. On the right, a picture of Lou Gehrig. Can you tell from their stance why Babe consistently hit the ball farther than Gehrig? You will after reading Babe’s secrets. (HINT: Remember, Babe goes for homerun or bust!)

Now, to be honest with you, Babe’s secrets are not going to automatically boost your hitting without any work on your part. You will need to spend some time trying them out and adjusting the techniques to your particular body frame and swing style. Because they’re different in everybody.

However, you’ll have fun in the process, and you’ll begin to notice results almost immediately. Take a week or two to practice regularly, fine-tuning your swing and stance along the way. You will notice the difference.

Of course, you may skim a few pages and start launching your shots into the stratosphere from the start. Or maybe you’ll need to study it a bit to understand the gold nuggets Ruth is serving up. But they’re there. You’ll see.

In fact, you don’t even have to take my word for it. I certainly don’t want anyone to feel ripped-off or anything, so I’m also giving you this personal guarantee of mine:

You can keep the Babe’s memoirs for a full 2 months absolutely free.

Only after 2 months will I consider your sale final.

And even if you decide, for any reason whatsoever, that this book isn’t for you, I’ll refund every penny in full, and you can still keep the memoirs!

You heard that correctly. Although I could certainly use your sale, fair is fair. I don’t want your money unless you’re completely happy with the memoirs. That’s the way I do business, and, frankly, that’s one of the qualities my new business start-up will have as well.

You can order Babe Ruth’s memoirs any time, day or night, and have it delivered to you instantly.

BUT…THERE’S MORE…

I’m kind of anxious to get my life back on track, so time is important to me. That’s why I want to give you a very special bonus if you order this week.

It, too, is one of the last holdouts from my collection:

How I Hit – By Mickey Mantle

I bought this pamphlet, authored by the legendary #7 New York Yankee himself, Mickey Mantle, from the world-famous Sotheby's Premier Auction House 6 months after I bought the babe’s memoirs.

Written in 1956, Mickey shares his tips on just about every part of the game. The writing is in plain language directly from the All-American golden boy from the Mid-West who wrote it.

In it, you’ll see baseball as only Mickey can tell it:

  • Mickey's Batting Secrets - How he adjusted on the fly to every pitch thrown to him.

  • Line Drives – Which ones give you the “most bang for your buck.”

  • The Grip – The difference between pros and rookies, and how a simple adjustment can make a world of difference.

  • Throwing – The tradeoff between power and accuracy…and how you can have both.

  • The Stance – The untapped power in your legs and feet.

  • Follow-Through – The secret to accuracy and less fouls.

  • The Swing – How swing mechanics are only part of the answer, and how your stance works hand in hand with it.

  • Running & Stealing Base – Running speed doesn’t always win out. And how timing isn’t everything when it comes to stealing bases.

  • Bunting – How to actually do it right and still get on base.

  • Fly Balls – The key spots in the outfield where you’re practically guaranteed a homerun, or worst-case, a base hit.

  • The Stride – Once you tap it, you’ll never go back!

  • Grounders – How to use them to get on base and send a runner home.

  • And much more…

The secrets in Mickey’s manuscript alone are worth far more than what I’m charging.

Get the scoop on hitting “homers or bust” from the Babe, and every other aspect of the game from Mickey Mantle himself.

You won’t find this offer anywhere else. Of the few remaining copies of these manuscripts in the world, I know of no other collector making them available to the public.

I also know of no other person before me who discovered the hidden nuggets of wisdom in Babe Ruth’s memoirs.

So please, order now and you could be reading these two gems within minutes.

Sincerely,

P.K. Jacobson
Ridgecrest, CA.

P.S. Remember, I take all the risk. If you’re not happy with the baseball wisdom in these pages for any reason, I’ll give you your hard-earned money back, and you can still keep both of them. That’s my promise to you.

P.P.S. Order now, while you can. As soon as I make enough to put my start-up in motion, I’ll probably discontinue this site so I can focus my efforts on my new business. Acting now will make sure you get your hands on these timeless treasures and watch your hitting go through the roof!

And for everyone who orders before this Saturday at midnight, I’m including Mickey Mantle’s How I Hit, absolutely free. I may change the terms of this offer at any time, so please act now!

P.P.P.S. Remember when I told you at the start that I was a decent pitcher? Well, with the Babe’s memoirs, my pitching went from decent to unbelievable. There aren’t many of us out there who can both pitch and hit well. Why not be one of them?
